Hello everyone, I am student of the 3rd year, New
Media and English course in the University of Limerick. My university is situated
in town Limerick, Ireland. Recently I started Technical Writing module.
I choose this module because I found its description interesting. It said that I will learn how to create a blog and a website. I knew a bit of how to create a blog, as I had one already, but I wanted to improve it, and I was very interested in how to create a website, as then I would be able to make something interesting and fun at the free time. So, I was very excited about this module.
When module started, I listened with all my attention to what teacher is going to say. I found out that there are more to blogs than I expected. I knew how to use basics, but after class, I understood that it was all just the beginning.
After class, when I went home, I decided to try and improve my blog. First I used all the skills I learned from the class, then, after I was stuck, I went to YouTube, as I used it before for various reasons and knew that it might be quite useful for me now. I was right, video that I found, about how to create and improve the blog, helped a lot! It showed how to do everything step by step, which I found very interesting and helping. The result, you can see right now- so, what do you think?
It’s easier than you think, to improve your basic blog, particularly if you struggle, there is a lot of supporting video on YouTube, so you will find the one you will like for sure as there is great choice of them.
Next time I will talk about websites and blogs in our life, and then come back to making blogs, so bear with me, hope you will find my blog useful, as even though it’s part of my assignment, still, it’s also part of my life, and in this part, I want to improve by exploring new ways of learning, and I want to help others to improve too by my example.
